Short biography

Frank La Rocca is Composer-in-Residence at the Benedict XVI Institute for Sacred Music and Divine Worship. His Mass of the Americas, commissioned by Archbishop Salvatore Cordileone, debuted at number one on the Billboard Traditional Classical chart and has been celebrated at the Basilica of the National Shrine of the Immaculate Conception and the Basílica de Santa María de Guadalupe. A 2018 American Prize winner for A Rose in Winter, he trained at Yale and the University of California, Berkeley, and is Professor Emeritus at California State University, East Bay. His music is published by Boosey & Hawkes, GIA, Walton, Santa Barbara Music, and Lumen Verum Music.
